Build, Build, Build!

The past few weeks have been busy for the students in the Environmental Science class. Our days have been filled with building, planning and discussing. On 2/6 Scott, Elliot and some hard working students raised the first wall of the tiny house.

After we raised the first wall of the tiny house we moved quickly to construct the second, due to harsh weather conditions we built this wall inside. This second wall will sit on the back of the trailer. It is close to being fully constructed and we are planning on raising it this monday 2/18.

In addition to building, we have purchased our first appliance. The Incinolet is an incinerating toilet that is both environmentally friendly, and easy to use. We had an important discussion weather a composting toilet, or incinerating toilet would be the best fit. After much research we came to a consensus that the Incinolet would work best within the space that we have.
